Reverend David Starkey, Sr. , is the full time pastor at Harker Heights 1st Assembly of God .  Rev. Starkey and his wife, Marie, have a son, David Jr., and a daughter, Tamala.

Rev. Starkey has pastored full-time for 27 years and has been an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God for 37 years. He has ministered in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Missouri, as well as being involved in numerous community and youth functions.
