Mpact and Teen Girl Ministry Clubs —
Mpact and Teen Girls Ministries Clubs are branches of the national Girls Ministries Department. They are discipleship programs for preschool through high school girls (and boys in Rainbows). The ministry is nationwide involving thousands of girls and leaders. The clubs have been meeting for over 50 years. Mpact/TGM Clubs is where the biblical Titus 2 principle is put into action — women mentoring girls. The purpose of the clubs is explained in the following statements:
1. Winning girls to Jesus Christ through love and acceptance 2. Teaching girls to obey everything Jesus commanded us — helping girls to develop spiritually and mentally 3. Providing encouragement, support, and accountability through lasting Christian relationships 4. Providing an environment for girls to develop their gifts and abilities 5. Acquainting girls with the Great Commission of Jesus Christ our Lord
The Ministry Includes Six Clubs:
Rainbows: The Noah’s Zoo Club for Preschool Girls and BoysRainbows club is built around the Noah’s Ark theme. The club is designed to be enjoyed and easily understood by preschool children. Daisies: The Sonshine Club for Kindergarten GirlsThe central characters in the Daisies curriculum are three girls — Darcy, Diana, and Dorie and their sponsor Miss Jennifer. These characters are used throughout the lessons to help tell stories and review the lessons learned. Prims: The Discovery Club for First-and Second-Grade GirlsThe central characters in the Prims Club are four girls — Megan, Carmen, Kim, and Tonya — their sponsor miss Debby, and Megan’s dog, Discover. These characters appear throughout the lessons as life application references. Stars: The Fun Club for third- through fifth-Grade GirlsGirls will learn valuable biblical truths such as Salvation, the Life of Christ and the Holy Spirit. These central truths will provide them a biblical worldview to shape them into stolid Christian women. Friends: The Where You Belong ClubFriends is a discussion oriented club. Topics include Accountability, Attitude, Choices, Purity and many more grade-level appropriate subjects. Girls Only: The G.O. ClubLike Friends Club, Girls Only is discussion oriented. The issues covered are relevant to high-school-age girls: Addiction, College and Career, Dating, and much more.
